Friends,
Starting Sept. 1, I'm going into personal, solitary retreat
for three months. Last time, for four months, was very productive.
And, although I've been able to take a few weeks each year
to engage in intensive practice, there is nothing like solitary retreat.
Whatever happens in the cabin is very clearly caused by one's
own mind! There is no escaping this fact. So I really recommend
this to those of you who are qualified. I return to moderate this forum
on December 1.
As before, I've asked my friend and trusted vajra brother, Ngakpa Bill
to look after the conversations that happen here. He is a knowledgeable
and experienced Buddhist practitioner who has studied with some really
amazing Lamas, such as H. H. Penor Rinpoche.
See you in December.
